Current Bugs

w.ai is currently in its early, closed-beta stage. You may encounter bugs and face issues as we continue to ship updates quickly. The team is working hard on pushing fixes for bugs reported by users.

The list below keeps you up to date with the bugs we're aware of and in the process of fixing.

w.ai v0.8.4 Bugs:

1. Points display (NOT A BUG)

   1. Behaviour: Coins are only displayed on a per worker basis

   2. Status: Team is working on releasing a dashboard that displays all points across all workers

2. Model offloaded bug (Intelligent Background Processing)

   1. Behaviour: Worker is pausing work while other apps/browsers are using more of your GPU. Model gets offloaded and won't get loaded again

   2. Status: Team is working on releasing UI to toggle this feature on/off

   
3. "Waiting for work" bug

   1. Behaviour: During a session, the worker will get stuck in "waiting for work" state and not generate any w points. This is fixed by turning the worker on/off.

   2. Status: Team is working on a fix

4. Model Download & Set-Up Bug

   1. Behaviour: Model download gets stuck at 70-90%,

   2. Note: For NVIDIA users on Windows, install CUDA manually. If the issue persists, report a bug and email us at [e-mail]

5. CLI Auth Bug

   1. Behaviour: After logging into CLI in terminal, redirected to browser on a broken page with no terminal response

6. CLI "Waiting for work" bug

   1. Behaviour: One task, then no further tasks
