How does w.ai work?

When you download and install the w.ai app, your idle device is integrated into our global compute network. Your device will process AI tasks, earning you w points in the process.

Your participation helps run and train cutting-edge AI models, support open-source research, and provide affordable compute resources to builders and developers. w.ai will never access your personal data.

How do w points work?

w points are earned by contributing your device’s idle computing power to the w.ai network. The more tasks your device completes, the more points you accumulate. These points serve as your proof-of-contribution and will unlock rewards.

Is w.ai stable?

w.ai is currently live in beta and rapidly evolving. You may encounter occasional bugs or experience downtime during this phase. Our team closely monitors the network’s health and actively updates our Discord community whenever issues arise. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we evolve.

Can I use multiple devices?

Yes. You can run the w.ai client on multiple devices using a single account. Your contributions across devices will accumulate collectively into your total w Points balance. *NOTE: currently, w points will only be shown per device. Don't worry - we store your cumulative w points on our end.
